Mornings matter. You wake up (in my case after pressing snooze a couple times), brush your teeth (and maybe even tongue scrape), get in the shower, get dressed and run to work, walk the dog or run to complete your errands. But, does your morning ritual energize you or drain you before you start the day? There are so many benefits to creating a morning ritual—because when you begin your day with intention, you cultivate a greater sense of vitality and ease that you’ll bring with you no matter how crazy the rest of the day becomes.
My glow matcha has been my go-to morning ritual since launching Clean Market. It has a bit of protein from grass fed collagen, healthy fats from the coconut butter and the cool, calm, collected energy of matcha. Try adding this simple, yet elevated recipe to your routine, and as you sip, set your intention for the day. How do you want to feel and what do you want to accomplish? For the next 100 days, I'm also pausing as I sip and thinking of three things I am grateful for - today that is gratitude for my hardworking team, dinner with my girlfriends from college, and a morning snuggle with my puppy. It's the big and little things.
Take a deep breath, and know that when you get in bed tonight you took some time for yourself, and that’s a huge, big step towards being well.
