There's a powerful tool in your arsenal that can help restore balance and unleash the vibrant health potential within you: glutamine. This naturally occurring amino acid acts like a superhero for your gut lining, promoting healing, reducing inflammation, and fostering the growth of good bacteria. Read on to learn more about glutamine and its potential impact on your gut health.
Yes, glutamine is good for gut health as it plays an important role in maintaining the integrity and function of the gut lining. The gut lining is a barrier that separates the inside of the digestive tract from the rest of the body, and it is critical for absorbing nutrients and preventing harmful substances from entering the bloodstream.
Glutamine is an amino acid that is produced by the body and can also be obtained from certain foods and supplements. It is a fuel source for the cells that line the intestinal tract and helps to maintain the tight junctions between these cells, which prevents harmful substances from leaking into the bloodstream.
Research has shown that glutamine supplementation can improve gut barrier function and reduce inflammation in the gut. It has also been shown to be helpful in conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and leaky gut syndrome.
What is Glutamine?
Glutamine is an amino acid, which is a building block of protein. It is a non-essential amino acid, meaning that the body can produce it on its own. However, under certain conditions such as stress, injury, or illness, the body may not be able to produce enough glutamine, and supplementation may be necessary.
Glutamine is found in many foods such as beef, chicken, fish, eggs, dairy products, and some vegetables like spinach, parsley, and cabbage. It plays a crucial role in a variety of bodily functions, including protein synthesis, immune system function, and intestinal health.
In addition to its role as a building block of protein, glutamine also serves as a fuel source for rapidly dividing cells in the body, including those that line the intestinal tract. It is also involved in the production of other important molecules in the body, such as neurotransmitters and antioxidants.
Glutamine has several benefits for gut health, some of which include:
Taking glutamine to keep your gut health can have plenty of benefits. Glutamine is an amino acid that helps maintain the balance of important molecules in your body. Not only can it help repair and maintain the lining of your gut, but it can also help reduce inflammation and digestive problems, such as irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Glutamine even helps with certain health conditions – if you have been diagnosed with gastrointestinal issues or discomfort such as bloating Gut Health IV Drip can repair the intestinal microbiome and tight junctions to heal leaky gut and restore immune tolerance.
When it comes to taking glutamine for gut health, the best way for your body to absorb glutamine is through IV drip therapy. For best results, we recommend a protocol of weekly Gut Health IV Drips for a period of at least 6 weeks. The Gut Health IV Drip protocol (1 IV drip weekly for a period of 6 weeks) has been found to significantly improve IBS symptoms (both diarrhea and constipation type), improve stool form, decrease difficulty with bowel movements, along with significantly improve symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and fatigue in people with gut issues.
Glutamine and probiotics have different effects on gut health. Glutamine is an amino acid that is necessary for certain cell processes and to make a certain molecule that transmits signals in the brain. It also helps keep a balanced level of amino acids in the body. Probiotics are live bacteria, found in fermented foods and dietary supplements, that can keep the good and bad bacteria balanced in the gut, which improves digestion and nutrient absorption. Probiotics also help the immune system by producing short chain fatty acids and preventing the growth of harmful bacteria. While both are beneficial for gut health, they offer different benefits.
Glutamine and probiotics are both beneficial for gut health, but they work in different ways and can offer unique benefits. Here are some of the key differences between glutamine and probiotics:
In general, both glutamine and probiotics can be beneficial for gut health, and they can complement each other's benefits.

Lauren - VP, Operations
“I start every morning one sachet of Goop Glow to see I kick off my day with a healthy dose of Vitamin C, E, and CoQ10 - plus it tastes delicious! From there I follow up with LivOn Labs Glutathione to support that glowy skin look I am always striving to achieve.
When I am finally ready for my coffee I blend in Brain Octane Oil, Coconut Butter and Moon Juice Collagen Protect.
Depending on what I ate or drank for lunch/dinner I may pop a few of WTHN ‘Oops I Did it Again’ or Activated Charcoal as these support my sensitive gut while not totally disrupting or limiting what I can enjoy in terms of food or social activities.
Lastly, if I am needing some sleep or additional digestive support I end my day with Magnesi-Om blended in some hot water while I enjoy a TV show, or book in bed.”
Elyse - Director, of Retail and Purchasing
"Currently, I am taking Plant People Lung Guard (coming to CM very soon!), Thorne Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) and Moon Juice Super Hair, because I have been bleaching and dying my hair so much that I am trying to keep it as healthy as possible internally and externally. I am also a HUGE fan of the Vitamin D Sunshine Booster, as it takes care of my D needs in one easy booster shot!”
Lily - Co-Founder
“There are a few supplements that are core to my routine. I have always been a huge fan of RelaxMax (a dose morning + night).
In the AM, I take probiotics, Lypospheric Vitamin C and Glutathione. These are all great for gut health, immunity, and detox. I’ve also noticed great improvement to my skin as a result. In the evening, I add Vitamin D to my Relax Max. I also rotate SuperYou and SuperHair (or a multivitamin in) - I find the duo is great for energy and stress. ”
Dana - Manager, Inventory + Logistics
“In the morning before breakfast I take LivOn Labs Vitamin C and Glutathione in a little bit of orange juice.
Once I get to work I take Seeking Health electrolytes powder to help with overall energy and cellular support.
In the evenings with dinner I take one capsule of Designs for Health Cannabomega to get Omega 3s to balance out the seed oils (omega 6s) in my diet, two Quercetin (I like Pure Encapsulations, but there are a few good brands) for immune support, and asthaxanthin which is an antioxidant. Near bedtime I take the Thorne liquid vitamin D/K2 1,000 IU."
Rob - Director, Medical Operations
“I take LivOn Labs Lypospheric Vitamin C, B-Complex and Glutathione. Honestly that’s about it these days! Vitamin C and gluta daily for immune support as well as to detox. B-complex roughly 1-2 days per week for a little pick me up between IV drips.”
Asa - Managing Partner
“I take 3 - 5 grams of Vitamin C (sodium ascorbate) spread across 2 doses morning and night, depending on how I am feeling. Then I take 20,000 IU of Vitamin D once a week with an avocado or shot of olive oil, because it’s a fat soluble vitamin so you absorb it better when taking with fat. The rest as follows:

]]>The gut and mind are connected in fascinating and often under acknowledged ways. An imbalanced stomach can lead to all kinds of issues which can be felt body wide, just like an anxious mind can bring about digestive problems and potentially pain. Fortify your gut with healthy bacteria while managing stress with cortisol-balancing supplements and adaptogens.
Goal: To Take Better Care of My Skin
Our skin plays a major role in both how we feel and how we perceive ourselves. Healthy, glowing skin is not only representative of a healthy body, but can also positively impact our self confidence and mood. At CM, we believe in holistic beauty, and that often starts from the inside out. Supplements for skin such as biotin, vitamin C, and glutathione are immensely beneficial for many biological pathways in the body. Feel great and look great.
Goal: To Be Stronger or Reduce Chronic Pain
Feeling strong and living without pain are two amazing goals to focus on in starting out in a successful new year. These two tenants are surprisingly connected, as strengthening and stretching the muscles around a painful spot can often help reduce pain if done correctly. The Theragun Mini is a life-changing tool to help reduce muscular pain, as well as soreness, caused by athletic activity.
Goal: To Slow Down and Take More Time for Myself
Here in our homebase of New York City, it’s easy to forget to take time for our own wellness practices. This New Year, remember that life only moves as fast as you let it, and sometimes the best realizations and greatest moments of personal growth and fulfillment come from slowing down and reflecting. Build a moment to say thank you to yourself, with a calming and clean Candle, delicious and soothing Chamomile Tea, and restorative bath or foot soak using Magnesium Bath Flakes.
Goal: To Get Higher Quality Sleep
Sleep is a fundamental need - rest is when the body heals and prepares for the next day. One of the absolute best things you can do for yourself is to get better sleep, and more of it. Creating a good sleep routine will help tip your brain off that it’s time to sleep every night, which will ultimately encourage a stronger circadian response and reinforce your natural bed time. Magnesium is our go-to supplement for encouraging sleep as well as a general feeling of calm. Sleep focused teas and tinctures are also great ways to help create a restorative pre-sleep routine. Herbal supplements such as Valerian root, Skullcap, and Passionflower support better sleep, and produce the best results when taken every night. Don’t forget to create a comfortable and inviting environment so that you look forward to winding down each night.
Whatever your goal is, results start from within! We encourage you to always come into one of our stores or reach out to us at hello@cleanmarket.com or DM us directly on Instagram for expert advice and encouragement!
]]>Hormetic stress or hormesis is a dose-response phenomenon that involves low-dose stimulation and high-dose inhibition that has been shown to result in overcompensation for mild environmental stress, meaning the low levels of stress stimulate the body’s repair mechanisms and improve overall health and resilience. The concept that mild stress can actually be beneficial for aging and longevity is a topic that has been studied for many years. Hormetic stress comes in many forms, such as cold exposure, saunas, exercise - making it very unique in comparison to other kinds of stress. The advantage of this type of stress is that can actually lead to a net benefit for overall health; it increases mental clarity, mood, reduces overall stress and inflammation - as well as potentially helping people with depression.
One of the best ways to induce hormetic stress is through cold exposure. Exposure to cold temperatures can improve immune function, increase brown adipose tissue (or “good” fat) in the body, and even enhance mental clarity and focus. More specifically, cold exposure activities such as whole body cryotherapy (WBCT), release stress related endorphins, along with adrenaline, noradrenaline, beta-endorphins, and steroid hormone cortisol – all which have beneficial effects on the body and can help successfully help us regulate our stress levels and block pain perception (thereby reducing overall pain). Endorphins and beta-endorphins are both chemicals that act like painkillers – we like to think of them as “nature’s Advil”. If you don’t have access to WBCT or ice bathing, cold showers have been shown to have similar positive impacts on the body.
Heat stress is also a form of hormetic stress that can have many physical benefits for the body. Saunas and heat therapy have been shown to improve cardiovascular health, reduce inflammation, and even enhance brain function. They can also help to relieve pain and stress, improve flexibility, and promote better sleep. Generally, heat therapy is a safe and effective way to improve physical health for most people.
As mentioned above, researchers have found that when the body is exposed to cold temperatures, it triggers the release of endorphins, which promote happiness and a boosted mood. It also increases the production of a neurotransmitter called norepinephrine, which helps with focus and attention, as well as stress tolerance.
When it comes to heat therapy, it's also a great option to support mental stress relief as it promotes stress reduction and overall relaxation. The heat from the therapy also increases the production of feel-good hormones like endorphins and oxytocin, which can help improve mood and decrease feelings of anxiety and depression. Additionally, heat therapy can increase blood flow to the brain, which can improve cognitive function and reduce symptoms of brain fog.
If you're looking for a way to support your physical and mental health, and overall well being, incorporating hormetic stress, and more specifically cold and heat therapy could be the answer.
You can experience both cold and heat therapies at our Midtown East or FiDi at Brookfield Place locations in New York City. Clean Market Midtown East features a single-person nitrogen whole body cryotherapy chamber while Clean Market FiDi at Brookfield Place has an electric whole body cryotherapy chamber that can accommodate groups of up to 4 people at a time. Both locations have infrared saunas that can fit up to 2 people in each session, allowing you to bring a friend or partner if you wish. ]]>Glutathione is an important peptide found mainly in the liver. It's composed of three essential amino acids - cysteine, glutamate and glycine - and is referred to as the "Master Molecule" or "Master Antioxidant" as it offers some amazing health benefits. Its role as an antioxidant is to neutralize dangerous free radicals and help maintain your body's immunity.
If you're looking for healthy ways to boost the levels of glutathione in your body, vitamin C (taken with glutathione to increase absorption) and vitamin E, selenium, curcumin, silymarin and N-acetylcysteine are all supplements that can help aid glutathione production. Eating an organic diet with fresh fruits and veggies can also help. But if you're looking for quicker results, a Glutathione IV drip will provide a direct dose of antioxidants into your bloodstream without worrying if they are absorbed properly or not. Not getting enough glutathione can lead to symptoms such as chronic fatigue, headaches, dizziness and mood instability so you want to make sure you're getting enough to keep your body running in peak condition.
Glutathione is known as a master detoxifier and plays an important role in our health. Low levels of glutathione can cause a lot of problems such as chronic fatigue, headaches, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, dermatitis, and even mood instability or depression.
Benefits of glutathione may include:
Taking glutathione effectively is essential for its many powerful benefits. While you can increase your glutathione levels by eating a clean diet of fruits & vegetables and supplementation to aid absorption & production, the most effective way to get enough glutathione into your body is through IV drip therapy.
We offer two types of glutathione infusions:
NutriGLOW is our glutathione IV drip and your go-to choice for luminous and glowing skin. Include NutriGLOW in your monthly beauty maintenance to achieve what many refer to as the “Glutathione Glow.”
Potential benefits include cleansing and detoxifying the liver, revealing glowing skin and enhancing overall complexion, boosting immunity, and decreasing inflammation.
This IV Drip is available at all locations. Plus, you can also book this as a concierge IV drip service at home, in your office, at your hotel room, or wherever you are!

]]>If you're passionate about staying healthy and feeling your best, you've likely come across Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide, or NAD+. This molecule is involved in numerous metabolic processes that help keep your body functioning at its peak. Unfortunately, as we age, our natural levels of NAD+ decline, leading to various negative effects. However, with NAD+ IV drip therapy, you can restore your NAD+ levels and regain control over your cells' ability to convert food to energy, respond to changes, and repair damage. By doing so, you can potentially slow down the aging process, combat disease, and support essential body functions. Here we'll explore the numerous benefits of NAD+ and how it can contribute to optimal health.
NAD+ is an important molecule found in all living cells and it helps to regulate a number of processes, like the breakdown of carbohydrates and fats for energy, as well as cellular growth and repair. NAD+ is produced by the enzyme nicotinamide nucleotide transhydrogenase, which is located in the mitochondria. Mutations in the enzyme can lead to lower levels of NAD+ and can cause a decrease in hormones that regulate blood sugar, immune system function, and other aspects of cell activity. Therefore, regulating NAD+ levels in the body plays a critical role in maintaining cellular functions, reducing inflammation, helping with muscle atrophy & pain, and more.
Taking NAD+ can provide numerous health benefits relating to energy metabolism, muscle health, and longevity. Benefits may include:
NAD+ has a range of potential benefits for the human body. As a critical component in cellular metabolism, maintaining optimal NAD+ levels can help improve energy production, DNA repair, and cell signaling. Additionally, research has suggested that increasing NAD+ levels in the body may have anti-aging effects, as NAD+ declines with age. NAD+ supplementation has also been linked to a reduction in inflammation, improved brain function, and an increase in endurance during exercise.
One way to improve NAD+ levels in the body is through IV drip therapy. This method is effective because it delivers NAD+ directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. Our IV drip therapy protocol not only provides NAD+, but also hydration, essential nutrients, and minerals to the body. Another way to increase NAD+ levels is to take NAD+ precursors such as NAM, NMN, or NR orally. These precursors can help raise NAD+ levels in tissues and may help treat diseases related to mitochondrial dysfunction. Recent studies suggest that increased NAD+ levels can also reduce postoperative pain by encouraging anti-inflammatory macrophage polarization.
We offer two ways to receive NAD+:
NutriYOUTH helps fast track the regeneration process to protect cells and ultimately help stop cellular aging in its tracks. As our body produces billions of new cells each day, the chances of losing DNA data increases with age.
In addition to NAD+, this IV drip also includes Vitamin C, B12, B-Complex, and Magnesium to replenish lost nutrients in the body and prepare for ultimate cell rejuvenation. This IV drip experience is finished with glutathione push, which removes toxins in the liver, and naturally purifies you from the inside out.
Overall, this is an incredible IV drip to support mitochondrial health, repair DNA, decelerate aging, improve brain, memory and mood functions, and support youthful energy and glowing skin.
We offer the NAD+ IV Drip at all locations plus it’s available as a concierge service if you’d like to book your NAD+ IV Drip at home, in your office, at your hotel room, or wherever you are!
Our NAD+ IM booster shot can be administered in just minutes for when you are looking to boost your NAD+ levels on-the-go. Still get all the benefits from NAD+ but in less than 15 minutes from start to finish.

]]>Lymphatic drainage massage can be incredibly beneficial for gut health.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage is also great for those with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) as it can help to reduce symptoms such as abdominal cramping and bloating.
If you're looking to improve your gut health and further support results from your lymphatic drainage massage, particularly if you have IBS, there are a few important dietary changes you can make. You can reduce inflammation by avoiding sugary foods, processed carbohydrates, specific proteins (dairy, gluten, etc), and alcohol. Carbonated drinks, popcorn, vegetable skins, nuts, and other high-fiber foods may be triggering to some individuals. Keeping a food diary to identify foods that are causing problems can also be helpful in identifying your specific trigger foods.
The types of food you incorporate into your diet can also help support your lymphatic drainage results when it comes to improving gut health. Increase low-glycemic, whole foods such as organic fruits, organic vegetables, legumes, whole grains, fermented foods, and lean proteins in your diet. Eating more plant-based proteins can also help reduce inflammation and improve digestion. In addition to the foods you are avoiding and the foods you are incorporating, it’s also helpful to think about ways to make digestion easier. This could mean drinking more liquids throughout the day, eating smaller meals more often, chewing more thoroughly to start the digestion process in the mouth. Eating slower and paying attention to how food makes you feel can significantly support digestion.
In addition to lymphatic drainage, different nutritional supplements can help with gut health. Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that can help restore a balance of healthy bacteria in your gut, while prebiotics feed the good bugs. Omega-3 fatty acids work to reduce inflammation while providing essential nutrients. Digestive enzymes are another supplement that can support your natural digestive process, and work to reduce bloating. L-Glutamine is an amino acid known to improve intestinal permeability and reduce inflammation. Herbal supplements, like slippery elm and marshmallow root, can also soothe the digestive tract and reduce inflammation.
Here’s our Clean Market approved list of a few of our gut health supplements you can find in-store at our New York City & Las Vegas locations:

]]>What are the main benefits of cold therapy?
Cold therapy is becoming more popular among people looking to improve their mental and physical wellbeing. It has the potential to be an alternative treatment or preventative treatment for many health issues. There are many physical and mental health benefits that can come from cold therapy. Potential benefits can include:
How often should cold therapy treatments be administered?
Cold therapy utilizes cold temperatures to treat specific symptoms. The one way you may have experienced it before is with an ice pack for an acute injury, but it can also be done in a whole body cryotherapy booth or chamber, with a cryotherapy wand, or in an ice bath. How often cold therapy is done depends on the individual and the condition you are trying to treat.
For Whole Body Cryotherapy, 2-3 minutes is recommended per session. Weekly sessions are recommended for those looking for holistic wellness benefits while those with joint or muscle pain may benefit from daily sessions.
For ice baths, up to 10 minutes is recommended per session. People who are unaccustomed to the cold may find it unpleasant at first but this tends to get better with each session as the body adjusts to the low temperature. Start for shorter amounts of time and build up as your body gets more comfortable.
What are the benefits of Ice Baths vs. Whole Body Cryotherapy?
Ice baths and Whole Body Cryotherapy are both popular treatments for muscle pain, ailments, and injury recovery. Both methods involve exposing the body to cold temperatures, but the method is different. Ice baths involve submerging the body in a tub of cold water for up to ten minutes, while Whole Body Cryotherapy involves using chilled air in a cryotherapy chamber for up to 2-3 minutes. Despite the difference in the way they are used, both have potential benefits and you should try both to find your preferred method They can also be used in conjunction with each other.
The primary benefit of ice baths is that they can reduce inflammation and improve muscle recovery after intense workouts or injury.
The primary benefit of Whole Body Cryotherapy is that it may be beneficial in treating conditions like depression, anxiety, arthritis, and skin conditions, as well as weight loss.
The two types of Whole Body Cryotherapy offered at Clean Market.
Nitrogen Whole Body Cryotherapy uses nitrogen-cooled air to expose the body to sub-zero temperatures of up to -220°F (choice of -160°F, -180°F, or -220°F). Available at Clean Market Midtown East.
Electric Whole Body Cryotherapy uses electricity to power the cryotherapy chamber, which maintains at a cool -190°F. Up to four people can go into the cryotherapy chamber at once – making it the perfect happy hour activity or group recovery post-marathon race. Available at Clean Market FiDi at Brookfield Place.

Clean Market is committed to doing the research and delivering you the results-driven services to elevate your health. Next up on our list: lymphatic drainage massage.
Therapeutic lymphatic drainage massage is our newest treatment offering at Clean Market’s Noho Wellness Lab and for good reason. You may have noticed a recent uptick in DIY lymphatic stimulation techniques gaining traction across social media but lymphatic drainage has been practiced for years as a means to restore health and balance the body. Our lymphatic systems act like built in sanitation systems meaning that they help us to take out the trash and play a critical role in our overall health. When we properly stimulate our lymphatic system, we rid the body of any waste and toxic build up that it naturally produces. As you can imagine, when our lymphatic system becomes backed up, we start to feel its deleterious impact on our health and wellbeing.
Lymphatic Massage vs. Traditional Massage
Unlike traditional massage, lymphatic massage specifically targets the lymphatic system, a network of vessels and organs under the skin that are crucial to the immune system and our overall health. The hands-on massage approach can vary in pressure but it typically requires light touch only since the lymphatic system is close to the skin’s surface and easily stimulated. Your licensed massage therapist will focus on stimulating the body’s internal drainage by palpitating your lymph nodes, manually pumping the lymph fluids towards the appropriate nodes and customizing the treatment entirely to your needs.
Benefits of Lymphatic Drainage:
Lymphatic drainage has been shown to support a variety of health conditions including bloating, post operation recovery, autoimmune disorders, gut issues, scar tissue reduction, inflammation, tension headaches and sinus congestion. Potential benefits include:
How to Support Yourself Between Lymphatic Sessions:
The benefits of personalized lymphatic treatments with a trained therapist are next level. A few simple practices to implement before and after treatments can help you maintain a healthy lymphatic system between sessions:

]]>How Infrared Sauna Works
Infrared light itself isn’t actually visible to the human eye; the colored light often seen in the sauna room is instead part of the visible spectrum, and primarily used to create a relaxing or energizing atmosphere, depending on preference. Instead, infrared light is not seen but felt by humans as heat. It is a “cool” heat, meaning it can heat the body internally to stimulate sweating without being uncomfortably hot. This quality of infrared light is what makes it such a great addition in saunas as sweating is beneficial for detoxification of the skin, but the infrared light stimulates greater perspiration than would otherwise be experienced at the actual air temperature of the sauna.
Why Your Skin Can Benefit from an Infrared Treatment
Dirt, grime, and excess sebum (i.e. the oil naturally produced by the body’s pores) collect on the skin throughout the day, especially in areas with lower air quality, such as polluted cities, or during certain professions, such as construction. These particles can clog the body’s pores, resulting in acne and noticeably-clogged pores.
Benefits of Infrared Sauna for Skin
Sweating benefits the skin by clearing the pores and helping your body purge any toxins or excess oil. Infrared can also be beneficial in the treatment of psoriasis and eczema as it can decrease skin inflammation. Infrared is a great alternative to cosmetic treatments such as facials, which can be painful and damage the skin if done improperly. Infrared, unlike steroid, retinol, or antibiotic prescriptions for skin issues, are also non-habit forming and do not thin or damage the skin or liver.
How to Maximize the Benefits of an Infrared Sauna Session
In order to maximize the effects of the infrared-induced perspiration, one should always begin the sauna session with clean and dry skin. Avoid any lotions or creams as they can block pores and prevent excess oil and particles from exiting the skin. Being adequately hydrated before, during, and after a sauna is also important as one needs to be hydrated enough to sweat through the session, as well as make up for lost fluids during and after, and continue the detoxification process after. Toweling off during the sauna will also allow the skin to freely sweat and remove any toxins that have already been sweated out. While one should always start slow with anything new, gradually increasing the temperature of the sauna after a few sessions will increase sweating and therefore maximize benefits, though be sure to stay adequately hydrated and never push yourself too far. On average, one should drink 1-2 liters of water during a one hour session, as well as continuing to hydrate afterwards. Water-rich foods such as vegetables, fruits, smoothies, or soups are great ways to increase hydration after a sauna. Learn more about how it works & what to expect here.
Looking to try it out for yourself? Book your infrared sauna session here today.

The process of decluttering has an undeniable ability to change your life. It can allow you to live more freely in your physical space but it also has a plethora of other benefits, some of which you might not even realize. We at Swoon Spaces, a professional organizing company based in NYC + LA, believe that organizing is an often overlooked form of self-care. And we also believe that decluttering is a huge part of that. Decluttering your home is similar to going through a detox, just with purging your personal belongings and the unsupportive or limiting feelings that might be attached to them.
The goal for decluttering your home is not necessarily to get rid of as much as possible, but instead, to realize what you need and love to make your home a calm and peaceful place for you to feel sustained, inspired and free to grow. The goal is to make your physical space reflective of the person you are TODAY, or even more importantly, the person you want to evolve into. The state of our space is often reflective of our feelings about ourselves, and when our homes are tidy and organized, our emotional well-being can truly be nurtured, focused and confident. For many of us, decluttering can be an emotional process, but it is undoubtedly worthwhile and can have such a strong impact on our overall happiness. We’ve outlined a few of the unexpected benefits that decluttering can have on things other than your space.
5 Ways Decluttering Can Positively Impact Your Overall Wellbeing
1. Decluttering can free up your physical space AND your mind
When you go through the process of decluttering, you are able to get rid of items that are no longer serving you and are, frankly, just taking up valuable space (in your home and in your mind). Without those unnecessary blockages, you are left with an environment that can truly feed your growth, productivity, and creativity.
2. You are reminded of what you need and love now
When you detox your home, you are given the opportunity to part with items that served your past self. A lot of times we hang on to items because they have sentimental value, which is okay. But other times we hold on to things because they trigger guilt, past disappointment or sometimes, even fear. Decluttering is a good way to live in the present and make space for your future, instead of lingering in the past.
3. Decluttering spaces will give you energy
Cluttered spaces (including visual clutter!) take up to 50% more brain power and mental energy to keep track of and navigate. By cutting down on clutter, you will automatically have more energy, as you won’t be wasting it by looking at or maintaining all your items.
4. Lowered stress and anxiety levels
This one kind of goes hand-in-hand with higher energy levels, but when people have a lot of items to worry about, they tend to have higher levels of cortisol, the hormone that increases as a response to your stress and anxiety. By decreasing the number of things in your home, you won’t have additional stimuli that causes you to feel stress and anxiety.
5. Improved focus
As mentioned, visual clutter requires more energy to process, which in turn makes it difficult to focus on the task at hand. Whether it’s work, cooking in the kitchen, reading a book, or playing with your kids, unnecessary distractions make for an extremely chaotic home life. Decluttering can allow your home to be a more peaceful place where you can focus more easily.
Decluttering can entirely change your mental and emotional state. Clutter has a tendency to make us feel trapped or stuck. Doing a deep declutter (we recommend twice a year) and then a regular practice of decluttering can help you feel liberated in your space much more easily and for longer periods of time. It doesn’t need to be a huge two or three-day project. If you do it once or twice a year and are able to keep up a regular practice, you will almost always feel lighter and be able to enjoy a clutter-free sanctuary.
Another strong recommendation we have is to declutter before a move, not after. We did a full declutter with Lily before her move and it made all the difference. We edited her entire apartment and it made the move so much easier! She was able to move into her new place with exactly what she loves and needs, nothing more. She was also able to know her inventory before setting up in a new home and knew exactly what she needed to buy, without wasting money on duplicates.
I’d like to leave you with one more thought on decluttering. I just can’t say enough about how big of an impact it can have on a person’s mental and emotional health. Once you learn the difference between living with clutter and living without it, I promise you will feel like a fog has been lifted, both mentally and physically, and you won’t ever look back.
If you need any help with the decluttering process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us! Our mission is to bring you from chaos to calm by liberating your space.
]]>While there is no one solution to sound sleep, proper sleep hygiene can be cultivated with some consistency and a few impactful actions. Surprisingly, preparing for a night of quality sleep begins the moment that you wake up in the morning. Read on for 5 small yet effective changes you can take to optimize your sleep:
Soak in the Sun: Your sleep-wake cycle is controlled by a 24-hour biological clock know as the circadian rhythm. This means that it’s not just about what we do directly before bed that impacts our sleep. Starting our day in lock step with our circadian rhythm ensures that we feel energized upon waking and tired by bedtime, and the first way to sync your circadian rhythm is to soak in some sun. Exposure to morning sunlight regulates your body by reinforcing your natural circadian rhythms and signaling to your brain that it’s time to suppress melatonin production (melatonin is the sleep inducing hormone). Morning sunlight also boosts your vitamin D production (associated with improved immunity and stronger bones) and it increases your cortisol to healthy levels, leaving you energized for the day.
Stay Cozy + Cool: For anyone who has spent a steamy summer night sans air conditioning, there’s an innate understanding that too hot of sleeping conditions can lead to some major tossing and turning. Doctors and sleep specialists recommend an average nightly bedroom temperature of 65 degrees Fahrenheit to optimize sleep, induce melatonin release and begin to cool your internal body temperature. Our Clean Market Made shorts make it easy to be cozy but cool all night long.
Get Your Mag In: Magnesium is having a moment, and rightfully so. It’s been a long year of erratic sleep patterns for most of us, and magnesium is a tried and true supplement to help relax the body and induce a feeling of relaxation and sleepiness. There are lots of ways to get your magnesium in: you can luxuriate a hot bath with a magnesium soak and literally let your stress melt away, opt for a bioavailable magnesium supplement (we love the berry flavor of this one), or consume more magnesium rich foods like avocados, pumpkin seeds, spinach, legumes, and did we mention that dark chocolate is high in magnesium?
Drink Smarter: When you’re dragging in energy, it can feel tempting to order that afternoon espresso to energize or that after work glass of wine or pre-bed nightcap to relax. The reality is that these are short term bandaids that may actually be perpetuating your sleeplessness. Instead of grabbing for caffeine or alcohol, several functional beverages can serve as the perfect vehicle to relax and unwind, without the side effects. Some of our favorites include Kin Euphorics’ Dream Light and Anima Mundi’s Lucid Dream Tea, both of which rely on adaptogens and herbs to induce a natural and restful sleep state. For best results, enjoy these before bed and drift off with ease.
Keep it Consistent: The verdict is out on the exact number of days it takes to solidify a new habit, but it’s proven that small, consistent behavioral changes lead to sustained shifts. This applies to our sleep when we keep it consistent. Maintaining the same bedtime, wake time (even on weekends), and pre-bed rituals can support our overall sleep hygiene, which in turn help us to fall asleep—and stay asleep— when we get into bed.
While sleep is the most effective way to rejuvenate and restore the body, it’s important to remember that lasting sleep hygiene doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, patience and practice to get in a sleep routine. Stick with it and we guarantee you’ll master the rhythms of the night shortly.
*For anyone who needs a little extra sleep support, Clean Market has got you covered with our NutriSleep x Equinox IV Drip exclusively at Equinox Hotel.

The reality is that a certain degree of stress is inevitable for us all, and at times it can be beneficial. The term hormesis refers to an adaptive biological response in relation to acute, intermittent (re. not forever) stressors. These hormetic stressors can actually enhance our overall health and build resilience to future stress. It’s when we undergo prolonged periods of unrelenting stress that it begins to take a toll. On the physical level, this often presents as a weakened immune system— an area that we are all extra vigilant of right now.
The upside is that you may already be practicing stress management in your daily life, and if you’re not, read on for a few easy-to-implement techniques.
Remember to Breathe (Deeply): our breath is one of our most fundamental vehicles to stress reduction and better health. Experiment with alternate nostril breathing, a cooling breath in and out through the left nostril only or simply take a few deep belly breaths. Any of these breathing techniques will activate your parasympathetic nervous system, and transition your body from a fight or flight response into a relax, rest and digest state.
Sleep Like You Mean It: Sleep matters. If you stayed up for many late summer nights, September is the time to gently return to a consistent sleep and wake routine. Similar to an iPhone that needs to recharge, our bodies and brains require adequate nightly rest to recalibrate and restore for the next day. Over time, chronic lack of sleep can run down our reserves and leave our immune systems weak and our minds foggy. Practice proper sleep hygiene by getting into a rhythm of going to bed and waking up at the same time each day. If you struggle with sleep, opt for a cup of herbal tea or a warm bath with magnesium before bed. A natural sleep remedy can also aid the process.
Eat Yourself Zen: what we eat has such a profound impact on how we feel, and a healthy diet can greatly reduce stress levels. Aim to eat a balanced plate with healthy fats, proteins and lots of leafy greens and cruciferous veggies. Fresh herbs and spices like turmeric, ginger root, garlic, cilantro, parsley, cinnamon, local honey and several others can improve the flavor of any dish, boost our immunity and lower our bodies’ stress levels through natural detoxification and inflammation reduction.
Support Yourself: sometimes the most effective way to combat stress is to seek support. At Clean Market, we stock the highest quality supplements to really aid our systems during times of acute stress (or to recover from bouts of chronic stress). Whatever you’re experiencing, a quality supplement can boost the body and help it return to equilibrium. Choose from one of our immune boosting products or for New York and Las Vegas residents, stop into one of our Clean Market locations for an immunity IV drip or our new Immune Boosting Bundle.
Sweat It Out: Never underestimate the power of a sweat to reduce stress levels, elevate our moods and boost our immune systems. Opt for 20 minutes of brisk walking outside, an invigorating yoga flow or cardio workout or a sweat session in an infrared sauna. Sweating is a natural way to detoxify, rid our bodies of any build up, stimulate our lymphatic systems and circulation and invoke deep relaxation— all practices that can lower stress levels, improve immunity and keep us in flow.
Remember that stress reduction is an ongoing practice, and as with any practice it’s about consistency over perfection. Incorporating even one of the above tools into our daily life can shift the way that our body and mind processes stress, ultimately cultivating a healthy ecosystem for the body to thrive.

]]>SA: I’m getting the NutriCleanse. It’s high in Glutathione and Vitamin C. Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that helps with tissue rebuilding and repair. Vitamin C is also an antioxidant that is great for supporting the immune system. The drip also has Magnesium which most of us are deficient in and is needed for over 300 functions in the body.
LK: As a holistic practitioner for over 2 decades and Chief Healing Officer at WTHN, can you share how your philosophy of health has changed over time?
SA: Prioritizing health is a constant balancing act. It’s hard. We care about our health but there can be so many things that compete for our time and resources. When I was younger it was easier, I didn’t have a family and a company to nurture. I could take off to magical places like India to study yoga and Ayurveda and immerse myself in healing. Now I’m applying all that I’ve learned to stay healthy while raising a child, being married and creating WTHN. Sometimes self care can feel selfish and it means saying no to others and yes to yourself. This can be hard to do when you are someone who enjoys giving to others.
LK: Was there a moment in your life when you knew you wanted to become a healer?
SA: Yes. doing healing work is my true calling in life and I realized it when I was in high school. I was always attracted to ancient healing traditions and a holistic lifestyle. Wellness wasn’t cool in the 80’s like it is today, I spent a lot of time being the “weird girl” who drank green juice and meditated.
LK: What are the top 1 - 3 recommendations you make that people can implement in their daily lives to encourage healing?
SA: Take a pause. Put your laptop down and close your eyes or gaze out the window. Let your mind unwind and find the present moment. Life happens in the present yet we spend a lot of our mental time in the past and future.
Take herbs. I take herbs everyday as part of a healthy diet. Either I’m taking herbs because I’m working on a health goal or depending on what I need that day. Herbal medicine is the oldest form of medicine on the planet and it helps me with energy, digestion, sleep, detox and more.
Love your body. I love going to get bodywork such as acupuncture and massage, but on days which I’m not getting treated (which is most days!), I love to stretch, lie on an acupressure mat, take an Epsom salt bath and give myself a facial with Gua Sha or Face Cupping. As much as we rely on others to support our bodies it’s important to also create a home sanctuary and be your body’s best friend.
LK: It can be hard to find time while running a business to find time to relax. How do you unwind and ‘chill out’?
SA: I love to meditate on nature. I sit somewhere comfortable (inside or outside) and gaze at the sky or the trees. I breathe deeply into my body and take in the healing power of nature.
I also recently started practicing Japanese calligraphy. It’s an ancient art that requires the mind and body to be still and present. It’s amazing because you can’t cheat, if you aren’t present it shows in the calligraphy.
LK: What or who continues to inspire you?
SA: The team at WTHN. I’m so proud of the team and what we are building. I love going into the studio and getting treated. All the acupuncturists are so dedicated and caring. The team at large is kind to one another and driven by our mission to help people live happier, healthier lives.
LK: What’s next for you and WTHN?
SA: We just launched an allergy herbal blend called Clear The Air. It’s based on Traditional Chinese blend, Bi Yan Pian. It’s a wonderful blend of herbs that really addresses the myriad of symptoms associated with allergies, such as sinus congestion, itchy eyes and sneezing.
Stay tuned for more studio locations, herbal blends for improving skin and reducing pain and other tools launches.
]]>With Earth Day around the corner, we invite you to join us as we incorporate small habits that make big impacts on saving the earth. Here are some ways you too can go green:
Reduce the consumption of single use plastics: Let’s start with one of the biggest changes you can make, that will make a significant impact on our global health. Ditch plastic straws, coffee cups, and water bottles and opt for a reusable version of each instead. Here are a few of our favorites:
Keep Cup - 12 oz Glass and Cork
Clean Market - Reusable Water Bottle
Make the Switch to Clean Skin Care: There are many skin care products on the market to choose from, but the truth is, many contain harmful ingredients that are not only harmful to your skin in the long term, but that can also be a detriment to our planet. Start with switching to an exfoliant without microbeads. Microbeads are made of tiny plastic particles that pollute our waters and pose an environmental threat on marine life. For starters, try Smooth by NORMALIFE. This exfoliant is made with ground olive pits that are not only biodegradable, but they are blended with clean aromatic oils that will leave you feeling fresh and renewed.
Use Reusable Face Masks: Nowadays it feels like seeing disposable face masks, and latex gloves all over the floor is the new normal. Help keep both you, and the planet safe by opting for a reusable face mask instead. Not only will you reduce the amount of waste you produce on a regular basis, but you can have fun by keeping it fashion forward. We love these cotton, and charmeuse silk masks by KES NYC.
Incorporate more plant based foods: Research shows that vegan foods have a significantly lower carbon footprint in manufacturing compared to meat and dairy, in resources like land use, water supply, and even greenhouse emissions. Opting for more plant based options, even just some of the time, can still make a huge difference over time. Here our some of our favorite vegan snacks on our pantry:
Bjorn Qorn Popcorn
Vital Proteins - Coconut Creamer
Eco-friendly Household Products: Many house cleaning products on the market contain harmful chemicals that are toxic to our health and the planet. Switching to eco-friendly cleaning products can help lessen air-pollution, water use, and ozone depletion, which can effectively fight climate change. Check out these aromatic, yet effective cleaners we absolutely love:
Choose Fair Trade Coffee: For many of us, a morning cup of joe is an absolute essential part of our daily ritual. The hard part is, there are so many choices to choose from! If you want to go green, a great way to start is by opting for Fair Trade Coffee. When you see this label on your coffee, you can bet that the farmers have abided by certain restrictions on the use of herbicides and pesticides, which like household cleaners, can be toxic to humans, wildlife and our eco-systems. Check out one of our favorites by Four Sigmatic, for a nice boost to your day.
Switch to Clean Hair Care: Just like in skin care, many hair products contain toxic ingredients that pollute our water, or that require a lot of natural resources to manufacture. A stand out choice for us is Act + Acre, we love them because they are pioneering healthy, yet effective hair products by eliminating 90% less energy than conventional manufacturing through cold-processing. Additionally, all of their packaging is 100% post-consumer material, and 100% recyclable.

This Veganuary, learn all about the two nutrients you need!
Whether your vegan, vegetarian, or just plain awesome, getting wholesome nutrition is something that is important to all of us. - In light of Veganuary, or even if you are simply interested in eating more plants, we have some food for thought to share so plant based eating becomes a no brainer on the nutrition side.
As the founders of Lupii, a new vegan protein bar powered by Lupini bean, we are tapping into Lupini power to make tasty, sustainable, plant-based fuel that will keep you running like a boss.
We created Lupii because we want to create delicious foods for people that are made out of simple, whole-food ingredients. Our Queen bean, the lupini bean, is such an incredible ingredient because she is a true nutrition powerhouse.
Don’t stress about protein - just eat beans (lupini beans)
Eating plant-based doesn’t need to leave you with the worry about not getting enough protein, particularly if you are eating whole food sources of protein. That’s where Lupii comes in. Traditional protein bars rely on processed isolates, that are stripped of all other nutrients and need to be masked with lots of fillers to taste palatable.
We believe that it’s time for the next generation of protein: it’s delicious, plant based, minimally processed and comes in the form of lupini beans. You don’t have to worry about sacrificing clean, wholesome foods to get the protein you're looking for - you can simply turn to Lupii, which is made out of whole lupin beans. We want you to feel confident that you are getting the fuel you need to get through your day without putting any added junk in your body to achieve that.
Lupii’s hero ingredient, the Lupini bean, is exceptional – it is the bean with the highest concentration of plant-based protein in the world! We’re talkin’ 3x more protein than eggs, 2x more protein than chickpeas, and 3x more fiber than oats. Not to mention, it’s a rotation crop that helps restore soil health and sustainable farming.
Lupii is the future of vegan protein bars, made with minimal, whole-food ingredients. Each Lupii bar has 9-10 grams of plant protein, 7-8 grams of fiber, and just 5 or 6 whole-food ingredients. It’s Vegan, Non-GMO, Gluten-free and has no added sugar.
Eat your beans and leave your worries about protein deficiency at the door.
Balanced Nutrition: Don’t forget there’s more than just protein
While protein tends to get a lot of attention in our culture, fiber often flies under the radar but is definitely something we should all be thinking about with a balanced diet. Most protein bars that exist today sacrifice the fiber to deliver on the protein, but not with Lupii. Our Lupii bars are packed with fiber from the lupini bean and can deliver around ⅓ of your daily fiber requirements! Fiber is so important for all of us because it supports our gut health and the fiber in lupini beans acts as a prebiotic, which feeds healthy gut microbes. And as you probably know, a healthy gut is linked to a healthy brain and overall healthy immune function. It’s a win-win when you can grab a snack that tastes great, but is doing great for us at the same time.
Here’s to healthy and happy 2021 full of delicious snacking!

Their skincare is clean - not just trendy clean - but genuinely free from non-toxic ingredients that other skincare typically contains. It’s only fitting that their utilization of the healing properties of algae is reciprocated into healing for the world’s oceans through a partnership with Oceana, the largest ocean protection organization in the world working with governments to change environmental policy for the safety and protection of the oceans.
Our favorite product:
The One Ocean Blue Algae Exfoliating + Detox Mask is perfect for preventing and treating acne-prone and congested skin.
Intelligent Nutrients recognizes the connection between the health of the planet and the health of its people. They strive and excel at creating efficacious products from sustainable sources. Co-founder Rachel Rechelbacher was inspired by her father, Horst Rechelbacher, who is known as the “father of safe beauty” for his founding of beloved and well-known clean brand Aveda in 1978, which itself is based off of Rachel’s grandmother’s herbalist practice, as well as Indian Ayurvedic tradition.
Intelligent Nutrients shys away from terms such as “clean” or “green” beauty, instead opting for the term “intelligent” to encapsulate their scientific approach to creating products that go beyond supporting organic agriculture and never using petroleum-based ingredients, but represent an entire business model founded on protection and love of plants and people.
Our favorite product:
The Refining Micro Polish is our favorite scrub to make skin feel smooth instantly and decrease lines and scars with prolonged use over time.
Celebrating the planet is at the heart of this holistic skincare brand. Plants are not just respected, but celebrated through Living Libations’ production practices. They understand that good things take time and prefer to foster long-term relationships with small and local makers from across the world, for many of whom the harvesting of botanical ingredients is an ancestral practice, not simply a job. Living Libations has been an earth-minded brand since before terms like “green” and “eco-friendly” became a marketing opportunity which is inherently clear through their potent and plant-powered products.
Our favorite product:
We love Zippity DewDab as a spot treatment for acne.
We love knowing that our skincare choices are benefitting the planet! After all, it only makes sense that the health of the planet and its people is interconnected.

]]>WHY VOTE EARLY?
Voting early in person is the best way to make sure your vote is safe, securely and counted on time. An early vote ensures that election results can be reported without delay and it spreads out voting for safety during COVID-19. It also helps reduce the burden on mail-in ballots, where states are having issues getting ballots in time. Already in North Carolina, Black voters’ mail-in ballots are getting rejected at 4X the rate of white voters.
If you haven't already made a plan to vote, consider voting early in-person! Did you know 200M registered voters have this option (aka most people in most states!) and the polls are open in 20 states this week?
VOTE EARLY IN PERSON
Early in-person voting means you can pick up and cast your ballot at an early polling site, just like you would on Election Day!
By voting early in-person, you can make sure your vote is counted securely and on time, and help flatten the ballot curve by spacing out voting for enhanced safety, and reducing the burden on mail ballots. Plus, you get to vote when works best for your schedule.
Even if you are on top of your voting game and have applied for your mail-in ballot, most states allow you to vote early in person or drop off your absentee ballot early in person. If you’ve already received a ballot and can vote early in person, just bring it with you to the polls if you have any question.
Got questions on how to vote early in-person in your state? We got you covered.
Check out @theearlyvote for all the state-specific info you need on when to vote early, where to go (hint: it’s probably not where you vote on Election Day), what you need to do in advance, and why it's safe.
GOOD CLEAN VOTING VIBES
We know the last 7+ months has been stressful, to say the least, and with the impending election we are encouraging you to take extra good care during this time. With that in mind, we’ve also partnered with The Early Vote on our Clean Market x The Early Vote Good Clean Home collection: a trifecta of cleaning, calming, and cleansing scents to bring good clean voting vibes through November 3rd.
Here’s how we recommend using it when you head to the polls:
You can also boost your mood, energy, and concentration with our Boosters!
Keep your defenses in fighting form with this bundle, which includes a B12 and Vitamin D shot.
B12 supports energy levels naturally along with mood, memory, and immune system.
Vitamin D supports mood, concentration, sleep and the immune system.
Come stop by our 54th St Location or our newest location at Brookfield Place to learn more about early in-person voting and to stock up on feeling good before the big day.
Show us your voting set up! Spread the good word by posting a pic and tagging @clean.market and @theearlyvote. #voteearly
]]>Make a plan and try to stick to it. Schedule fun activities, choose meal themes, downtime, and even pick out outfits and wear the clothes you would on vacation. Put in a little elbow grease to cleaning your apartment and changing your bed into its coziest sheets, so you can sit back and relax all weekend long.
Here’s what we will be doing this weekend:
Saturday
Start the day with a workout to shake off the whole week and get in the mindset of a relaxing weekend ahead. We’ll be doing our go-to: The Class.
Next, kick off the weekend with a BBQ. If you have a grill that’s great, if not use a grill pan or skillet inside. We will be picking up some meat from our local butcher and choosing from this round up of grilled recipes. Serve with your favorite bbq sides -- you can also go full veggie by making a ton of sides.
Cap off the night with delicious kombucha, and a round or two of cards. We’re nostalgic for Gin Rummy or Rummy 500, but chose your favorite card game or board game. You can also do this with friends online!
Sunday
Indoor or Outdoor Picnic
Whether you are in your living room, your yard, or the beach, make a meal into a memory with things. Lay out a blanket or two for the quintessential “park picnic”. If you’re indoors, take it a touch further by opening your windows, turning on a good playlist and moving some plants around your space to bring a little bit of nature indoors.
Add a bottle of your favorite organic wine or non alcoholic spirit, and bundle it all up in a tote. Don’t forget your hat and beach cover up or sundress.
Tonight we will be cozying up and screening a good movie -- here are some of our favorites:
Girls Trip, The River Wild, Center Stage, Dirty Dancing, Call Me by Your Name, Now and Then, Midsommar, Blue Crush, 500 Days of Summer, Wine Country, She’s All That
Monday
Today we’re all about winding down. Some of our favorite days on vacation are our ‘spa days’. Get in the mood by burning your favorite scent -- we have some incense leftover from Tulum that we will be burning to bring us right back. Make time for an epsom salt bath (and a cool rinse after) and give yourself a full facial -- steam, cleanse, and double mask. We’ll be using our full Osea line to bring us right to the beach. Have a large water in the fridge with cucumber and mint so you can sip on spa water throughout the day.
Bring in some gentle movement with a long walk or a few yoga postures to ground you and get yourself ready for the week.
Here’s what we are packing for our 72 hours:
A sundress
Leggings + sports bra
Swimsuit (even if you don’t have a beach or pool)
Chic pajamas (make your evenings a luxury)
Garin sweater (for chilly evenings outside)
Hat (outdoor hangs and less hair washing)
Freda Salvador sneakers (bike rides, walking in style)
Essential skin and hair (Osea Ocean Cleanser, Playa Beach Mist)
We hope you take some time to have fun and nurture yourself this weekend!
